Anna Silk was born at St. Thomas University in Fredericton, New Brunswick Canada. She is the daughter Peter Silk - an academic as well as Ilkay Silk - a talented actor, writer, director and producer. Her father comes from Britain as does her mother, who is a "Turkish Cypriot-English expat." Anna's earliest memories include attending play rehearsals and watching her mother's her job. As a young kid, she made the rounds in commercials of various kinds. In November 1999, Anna made the move to Toronto in order to further develop her acting career, eventually shifting into Los Angeles, California, within the next decade. Seth Cooperman, whom she was introduced to at an Los Angeles actors' workshop back in 2007, became her husband in the year 2009. Anna began her journey to becoming a Jewish woman in 2011, after she converted to Judaism. They were wed in a civil ceremony in December this year. They then reaffirmed their vows at an Jewish ceremony held in Fredericton on April 11, 2011. Bo and Lauren's romance (played Zoie Palmer by Bo) is featured on CNN's all-time favorite TV couples list.
