Then, various artists collaborated with reggaeton superstars such as Drake as well as Bad Bunny with MIA (2018), Madonna and Maluma together with Medellin 2019 As early as 2020, a few reggaeton artists felt dissatisfied with the direction the genre was heading toward mainstream.
